This charming small sheet includes maps of several Caribbean islands. The map of Cuba is positioned above Hispaniola with smaller insets of Havana, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Margarita Island. Adorned with a ribbon banner cartouche and several strapwork cartouches. This example appeared in the English edition of Mercator's Atlas Minor, which was published under the title Historia Mundi or Mercators Atlas by Michael Spark and Samuel Cartwright. Condition: A

A nice impression with one tiny worm track in the image at bottom left and light, marginal soiling. There is a faint damp stain in the bottom left corner of the sheet.
