Miniature map depicting the world known in classical times. The map is in the central section of a large oval frame. It extends as far east as China and Sumatra and as far south as the northern tip of Madagascar. The border is ornamented with strapwork in each corner, with the title across the top and the attribution to Hondius across the bottom. Latin text on verso.
