This lovely small map shows part of the coastline of Myanmar with the city of Pegu prominently depicted. The map is adorned with a small compass orienting north to the right and a strapwork title cartouche. German text on verso. This map is very rare as it only appeared in the last two editions of Jansson's Atlas Minor in 1648-51.

Condition: B+

A nice impression with light, scattered foxing that is primarily confined to the blank margins.
