This scarce map focuses on the Indochinese peninsula, the Straits of Malacca, and part of Sumatra. The region is divided into kingdoms, including Tonkin (Tunquin), Cochinchina (Cocincina), Pegu, Laos, Cambodia, Siam (Sian), Malacca, Pera, and Aracan (Myanmar). The dramatic title cartouche features a tiger and two regional potentates. Cantelli introduced a bold style that was followed and further developed by Coronelli. Engraved by Franciscus Donia.
