This small map was issued in Mueller's geography book and engraved by Gabriel Bodenehr. It presents the world in two hemispheres and depicts California as an island with an indented northern coastline. A strip of Jesso is shown in the Pacific immediately west of northern California. According to King, this is the only double-page map in the volume. The bottom two-thirds of the sheet is filled with German text, with the full sheet measuring 5.9 x 6.8".
