This handsome picture book contains 22 mounted collotypes on individual sheets by Albertype Co., Brooklyn, with most images measuring 6.3 x 7.8". The book was published by M. Rieder in Los Angeles, who also published the Vistas de Los Angeles brochure a few years earlier. Among the many varied images, the book features views of the Los Angeles Mission, Figueroa Street, East Lake Park, Elysian Park, and the residence of Paul Delongpre in Hollywood. The last image entitled Los Angeles From Angels' Flight (5.3 x 23") presents a wonderful panoramic view of the city with individual buildings named along the top edge of the sheet. Bound by string-tied green paper wrappers with paste-on illustration to front wrapper.
