This map shows the region from Scandinavia south to the Black Sea and east to the Ural Mountains and the Caspian Sea. The geography is limited to key river systems and a few place names. A mountain range appears in Sweden where the Gulf of Bothnia should appear, the Ural Mountains are truncated, and the Caspian Sea is shown in a horizontal orientation. The map is decorated with a compass rose and a strapwork title cartouche. Blank verso. This map appeared in the reduced-size series of the Mercator-Hondius atlas, originally published by Cloppenburg in 1630; this edition was likely published by Jan Jansson.

References: Van der Krogt (Vol. III) #1800:353.2.
