Magnificent map on two sheets of Scandinavia and the Baltic States with a brilliant figurative armorial cartouche dedicating the map to Charles XII, King of Sweden. The map is filled with excellent detail of the topography and the cities, towns, and villages. There are four distance scales on the second sheet at bottom right. Engraved by Henri Liexbaux.

Nice impression on watermarked sheets with original outline color. There is light offsetting and marginal toning and soiling. Both sheets have a small damp stain at bottom, and on the second sheet, it just enters the neatline, as does a tiny edge tear.
