A. Voyagers to the West - A Passage in the Peopling of America on the Eve of the Revolution, by Bernard Bailyn, published 1986 (6.6 x 9.6"). This interesting work follows the transatlantic movement of people from Britain to the New World just prior to the American Revolution. 668 pp. with over 30 illustrations, 19 maps, and numerous tables of information on the time period. Hardbound with blue cloth and illustrated dust jacket.

B. American Beginnings - Exploration, Culture, and Cartography in the Land of Norumbega, by Emerson W. Baker, Edwin A. Churchill, Richard D'Abate, Kristine L. Jones, Victor A. Konrad, and Harald E.L. Prins, published 1994 (7.3 x 10.3"). This is a collection of essays that examines early Native American interactions with Europeans. Norumbega was the name given to an undefined area extending from the Penobscot River in present-day Maine. 388 pp. with 89 illustrations, some in color. Hardbound with blue cloth and illustrated dust jacket.
