Among the collections detailed are the Post-Revolutionary War Period, Civil War Maps, the Oriental Map Collection, Globes, and more. The book is illustrated throughout with black & white images of maps drawn from the collections. The book includes a preface written by Walter W. Contents in all three books are fine. There is minor wear and soiling on each book's covers. Both the British Museum catalogues feature light toning on the covers as well.
