This lovely plan of Canterbury details the roads and several notable locations, including the Cathedral, St. Augustine's Monastery, and the city wall. A key at right locates 26 additional sites of interest, many of them churches. The Canterbury Cathedral is depicted in a view at bottom right. Two coat-of-arms, one representing the city and the other the Archbishop of Canterbury, the leader of the Church of England. Drawn by G. Cole and engraved by J. Roper, under the direction of E.W. Brayley.

Crisp impression with one tiny abrasion along the bottom neatline and remnants of masking tape on verso, confined to the top and bottom blank margins.
