This uncommon map was issued in Walker’s Atlas of Massachusetts and depicts Nantucket and the eastern edge of Edgartown (Martha's Vineyard). Drawn on a scale of 1 inch per mile, the map locates cities, towns, churches, cemeteries, railroads and roads. Contour lines are shown in light brown at 100 foot intervals.
There are a few tiny spots of foxing in the image and several edge chips confined to the top blank margin. Stitch holes are located in the left blank margin, away from the map image.
