This handsome map is from the set of six maps that enlarged Adrichomius' Situs Terrae Promissionis. The sheet shows most of the Tribe of Judah with the southern part of the Dead Sea. Sodom and Gomorrah are shown burning in the sea along with cities of Admah and Zeboim. The land is filled with Biblical illustrations. A large inset describes the Exodus - Itinera et Mansiones Deserti. Published in Georg Horn's 1677 edition of Jansson's atlas.

Lovely color with faint toning and several tiny, unobtrusive spots. There are a couple small worm holes in map image at bottom center and in margin below. A tiny surface chip just below inset map has been archivally repaired.
