Rivers and mountains dominate this uncommon map with the locations of cities and villages carefully noted. The title and a notation are enclosed in a drape-style cartouche at top, flanked by two Turks. Although Petrini credits Sanson, the map closely resembles that of Giacomo Cantelli da Vignola, published in 1686.
