An inset contains a view of the famous El Morro Castle with its chain connected to the fort at La Punta guarding the harbor entrance. The plan is adorned with a title cartouche and legend bedecked with the implements of war. Issued with a plan of Cartegena on a folio sheet, that has been removed from this example.
