A fine bird's-eye plan of the chateau and grounds of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, the principal residence of Louis XIV from 1661 to 1681 and the residence of England's King James II following his exile from Britain after the Glorious Revolution in 1688. The area is now a wealthy suburb of Paris.
