Nice pair of maps from a German edition of Munster's monumental world history. The first is a charming early woodblock map of Sardinia with towns and cities featured together with dramatic topography. Title in ribbon style banner. There is an illustration of a city in ruins following an earthquake on verso (6 x 10"). The second is a bird's-eye plan of Cagliari, the important fortified capital city on the southern tip of Sardinia (7 x 7.3). Both of full sheets (8 x 13.5") with German text.
