This picturesque map of the eastern Mediterranean covers the region from Rome through Asia Minor and the Holy Land and depicts the ministry of Apostle Paul. Panels of Biblical scenes at the bottom show major events in Christianity, from the expulsion of Adam and Eve through the resurrection of Christ. A large cartouche in map is surrounded by figures and a banner title is held by two cherubs. Engraved by Jacob Lindenberg.
