A superbly engraved plan of the coastal city of Harlingen, located in the province of Friesland. The map shows the city as a walled medieval town, filled with many buildings, some are identified with a numbered key at the lower right. A number of ships fill the ports and docks, and the decorative title cartouche is attended by two mer-people.
