A handsome map of the 17 Provinces of the Netherlands. The elegant title cartouche is surrounded by allegorical figures representing Fame, the goddess Athena, and historical figures. The key to the map is elaborate, with garlands, a coat of arms, and topped with the symbolic Lion of Belgium.

A sound example with original color. The centerfold is toned with some areas of loss at the top that have been filled and reinforced with paper on verso.
