Superb, large map of South America has great detail of rivers, mountain ranges, cities, missions, and Indian villages. Ocean currents and shipping routes are featured prominently. Bolivia has its outlet to the sea, and the Confederation of Argentina is separated from Patagonia. Finely engraved perspective view shows the various altitude zones in the region. Seven distance scales.
