"Railroad and County Map of New Jersey", Cram, George F. & Company

This uncommon and attractive pocket map has lovely printed color, a fancy border and shows such details as cities and towns, roads and railways, and rivers and lakes. The map is embellished with delicate borders and fancy title cartouche. There is a 16 page index that lists county seats, post offices, telegraph stations and railroads. Folds into original brown cloth covers with the title Indexed Railroad and County Map of New Jersey in gilt on front. Boards measure 4 x 6". A very nice example of a early Cram pocket map.

A small spot and a couple, nearly unnoticeable pencil marks within map. Covers very good with only a small puncture on front board.
