A very unusual map with north and south poles depicted on same sphere, by superimposing one on the other. The Southern Hemisphere landmasses are stipple engraved to distinguish them from the continents of the Northern Hemisphere. North America is shown with a huge Sea of the West and probable Northwest Passage.
