An attractive map based on the work of the eminent French cartographer, Guillaume Delisle. The map focuses on France, but extends to include the neighboring countries. The important wine regions of Champagne, Burgundy and Languedoc are noted. The map is fully engraved with great detail and decorated with a large title cartouche featuring soldiers, a portrait of Louis XV and a decorative distance scale cartouche.
