This fine map of the county has an inset plan of Monmouth and portrait of King Henry V who was born at Monmouth Castle. The map shows the six hundreds, cities, markets, towns and villages with a surprising amount of detail. Large strapwork cartouches balance the corners of the map. Imprint of John Sudbury and George Humble at bottom left. English text on verso.

Lightly toned with some minor soil. Narrow margins have been extended all around to better accommodate framing. Couple of printer's creases. Remnants of hinge tape on verso.
