This is a beautiful example for a wall map of this age. The map features a decorative border plus twenty vignettes at the sides showing prominent buildings and residents. Individual town plans depict the Village of Chemung, Horse Head, Havana, Millport, and Elmira. A large, lovely cartouche is filled with population and other information. Another ornamental cartouche contains the scale of miles and fancy tilting and lettering further enhance the design. Complete with both rollers attached. Published by William E. Baker, Philadelphia.

A clean and bright example in original, unrestored condition. Small area of loss at right affecting one vignette and a little water staining along right side, else fine.
