Three matching maps from the same Russian source. 1) The northeast part of Ukraine, with Kiev in the west, the Dneiper River forming the lower boundary. 2) The area southwest of Moscow, roughly centered on Smolensk. 3) The Gulf of Riga, showing Latvia and Estonia. An interesting set of anonymous early to mid 18th century maps of three states of the Russian Empire; Kiev, Smolensk and Riga. Printed in Cyrillic, each has its title in a large and decorative allegorical cartouche. Political divisions are marked in original outline color.
