This extremely interesting layout displays a large map of the Eastern Hemisphere, into which is inset a smaller Western Hemisphere with the Island of California. The map shows the extent of the empires of Rome and Alexander the Great. Below the map are seven vignettes depicting the seven wonders of the Ancient World. Tables of French text surround the entire map.
