A most unusual presentation of three pocket maps, all circa 1899, folding one above the other into a single, large wrapper (6.8" x 10.7") with printed title: "Northwestern Yeast Co.'s Improved Maps of the United States and Newly Acquired Islands - Presented with our Compliments to the Merchants Selling our Goods." Each map measures as noted and has a second title printed on the verso visible when folded into the cover that begins with "Northwestern Yeast Co.'s Map of..…" The United States map has overprinted electoral votes for each state and an inset map of Alaska. The map of the West Indies was made by Eugenia Wheeler Goff and Henry Slade Goff, authors of Goff's Historical Maps for Schools and Families. The paper covers contain tables of Valuable Statistics including votes by state in the 1892 & 1896 Presidential elections, population by states and territories, amount of gold produced 1896-1899, total value of imports and export in the U.S., and money in circulation. A scarce and unusual set of promotional pocket maps.
