Superb, scarce sea chart of the southern part of the Red Sea and coastlines of the horn of Africa, Arabian Peninsula and the Gulf of Aden. The map is beautifully engraved with calligraphy, a ship, compass rose and title cartouche. Two sheets joined as issued.

Fine impression except for a little weakness along joint where there is also some faint toning. Couple of tissue repairs in blank margins and an archival tape repair at centerfold.
