A lovely copper engraved map that covers all of China from the Caspian Sea to an early depiction of Sakhalin Island. Remarkable detail throughout the region. A large, boldly engraved and well rendered title cartouche with many figures, weapons, kiln, livestock, etc, and a second large cartouche with figures, a wolf and four distance scales. Engraved by G. Kondet.

Fine impression and coloring on very thick paper. Some light toning or staining in upper, mostly blank, areas and a short marginal tear just touching neatline, professionally closed, else fine.
