Very finely engraved Ptolemaic chart detailing the sea surrounding Sardinia, Sicily and Malta. Fully engraved sea and many place names along the coastlines plus good detail in the interior. On a full sheet (8" x 11.7") of Italian text. On verso is a similar sized map titled "Tavola Ottava Dell' Europe" that shows central Europe from the Baltic to the Adriatic and Greece.
