Early 20th century jigsaw puzzle of the United States complete and with the original box. The 48-state map includes insets of Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and the Philippines. The map is a brightly colored lithograph showing major railroads, rivers, state capitols and major cities. The box top has a great stone lithograph showing Uncle Sam cutting the puzzle along state lines. The capitol of Oklahoma is Guthrie, which was moved to Oklahoma City in 1910. On verso is a nice chart of the flags of the world.
