This beautiful map was based on Speed's map of Ireland and is geographically nearly identical. The decorative elements consist of three elaborate cartouches; the royal British coat of arms, the title enclosed in a strapwork framework with the Irish coat of arms and a fruit garland, with the distance scale flanked by two putti. French text on verso.
