An uncommon Dutch version of Emanuel Bowen's map of Africa. The Nile has its sources in both L. Dembee and two small lakes in the Bergen van de Maan with a note that new discoveries indicate that the twin lakes are probably not the correct source. Rococo-style title cartouche.
