Copper engraved plan and view of this important French and Indian War fort located on a strategic point at the mouth of the river connecting Lake George with Lake Champlain. The detailed plan has a legend listing 20 fortifications and key places along the river. The view shows the fort and munitions piles with two gunboats anchored near the shore.
