A wonderful Bible leaf written on thin vellum. There are 42 lines in a very regular gothic bookhand. One initial is beautifully decorated in gold, red and blue with a long-tailed monster. The rubric is in red, chapter numbers in red and blue, and the ordinary initials in red and blue penwork. The name of the book is at the top in red and blue. The text is from the New Testament, Peter I and II.
