An unusual map of the vicinity of Leiden with the surrounding villages beautifully rendered in bird's-eye format. Title translation: View of the foundations of the House at Britten; as well as the surrounding regions and villages, also the town of Leiden, and the course of the river Rhijn into the sea near Katwijk. After an old painting, at present in the house of the Honourable Lord of Katwijk. Also shown are the old Roman remains, dug up from the ground.
