A supreme example of the flourishing style of French design and engraving. Scenes including four queens representing the continents and Jupiter galloping across the heavens in his chariot enclose the title. At center, a group of adorable putti surround a large globe. Delamarche's imprint at Rue du Jardinet, No. 13.

Expert repair of a 1" tear at upper left, else clean and bright. Margins trimmed but adequate for framing.
