Beautifully decorated map of western Mexico covering the area along the Pacific Coast from Xiamora to Acapulco, with a vivid portrayal of the volcano of Popocatepec. Decorated with an elaborate, garlanded title cartouche and an equally sumptuous cartouche for the scale of miles.

Printer's crease and minor paper flaw at bottom centerfold. Minor damp stain in blank margins. Crisp engraving with later color.
