Gentleman's Magazine published several versions of Scull and Heap's important map of 1750. This Pre-Revolutionary War issue is the less common edition that contains the table of distances below the cartouche, as opposed to GENT-256, published in 1777. The map holds special value as a historical document because it shows the names of owners of estates and farms outside the city.
