"I want to compliment you on your mailing tubes. I get lots of stuff in tubes, and I wish more folks used the same quality you do. They are hard enough and study enough to qualify as a weapon under the right circumstances.

Fortunately I don't live under those circumstances, or at least haven't for some time, but I've noticed something else about your tubes. They are just the right size that a bottle of wine can be slipped inside them, providing the bottle isn't one of those that flanges out slightly at the shoulder. That may not sound important, but the new rules against carrying liquids on board airlines had really put a crimp in my long standing pleasure of seeking out local wines as I traveled and bringing them home. Trust me - just wrapping them in a towel and putting them in the checked luggage is NOT sufficient protection, and what happens when a bottle breaks is not pretty. Your tubes, however, provide a measure of protection that has allowed me to once again start bringing the vintages back with me. I think I could back the car over them without caving them in, and the two lengths just fit inside my 26" and 22" suitcases." - BJ - US
