This fine map of the Eastern Hemisphere is presented in Delisle's scientific style without decorations. In Asia, Japan is joined with a large island labeled Terra Incognita. Australia is beginning to take shape with Tasman's discoveries shown.

A dark impression on a bright sheet of watermarked paper. There are a few short archivally repaired edge tears at top and minor soiling along the right sheet edge.
