This regal title page accompanied Jansson's atlas of Germany. It prominently features Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand III with seven surrounding Electors in ermine cloaks. Above the Emperor and Electors, two eagles hoist a string of six armorial shields. In between the eagles looms the Imperial Eagle with the Emperor's coat of arms. The title was printed on a separate sheet of paper and pasted onto the title page, as was common practice at the time. Jansson's imprint appears at bottom. Moses Pitt would later update this title page for Volume II of his English Atlas.
