A detailed map of southern Italy, omitting most of Calabria and extending as far north as Nereto. The map is filled with tiny towns, political boundaries, river systems, and mountains, which are shown pictorially. Engraved by Abraham de la Plaetsen.

A nice impression with contemporary outline color on a bright sheet with a bunch of grapes watermark by Benoit Colombier. There is light soiling, a printer's crease at bottom center, and dampstains along the sides of the sheet. The sheet has been trimmed at right and left by the bookbinder, with loss of part of the border.
