A detailed map of the state with roads made of concrete delineated in red, and a legend further identfiying primary and secondary roads that are either improved or under construction. Additionally, the legend notes that the “colors on map correspond to color bands on poles along routes marked.” In addition to roads, the map also locates “Aviation Landing Fields” and extensive “Anthracite Coal Fields.” The verso contains detailed city maps of Philadelphia, Gettysburg, Pittsburgh and several others along with a complete list of AAA road maps. Self-folding (4 x 9.5”). We found only one example listed on OCLC.
