Eighteen nice steel engravings from this work by John S.C. Abbott. Includes four plates with groups of portraits of Union Generals and opponents of slavery; seven single portraits including McClellan, Fremont, Scott, Grant and Douglas; and seven battle scenes including the Capture of New Orleans, Battle of Pittsburgh Landing and the Battle Between the Monitor and the Merimac.
