Pair of nicely engraved plates featuring Cook's expedition. "A Canoe of the Sandwich Islands, the Rowers Masked" shows a war canoe with full sail and ten masked warriors. The second sheet has two engravings: "A New Zealand Warrior in his proper Dress, compleatly Armed according to their Manner" and "A Native of Otaheite in the Dress of his Country." A great pair of sheets related to Cook's explorations.
