Second is the first volume in a Time-Life series titled "The Life History of the United States". It provides a general overview of the period before Europeans arrived in the New World to the eve of the American Revolution. 8vo, 176pp, richly illustrated in color and B&W. Hardbound in simulated leather with color illustration on front cover.
