Fine map of Northern Russia based on the work of Guillaume de l' Isle. It focuses on the region south of the White Sea and includes St. Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, and Vologda. Fully engraved to show the mountains, rivers, lakes, swamps and forests, as well as the roads and towns. Decorative (uncolored) title cartouche featuring a hunter, a sleigh and various animals.
